OUR BATTLE CRY

  • At ClearPathNYC, we don’t just dream of change – WE DEMAND IT. We fight for a future where every New Yorker—regardless of income, background, or circumstance—has access to secure housing, healthcare, education, and social services as a basic right.

We see the systemic barriers, the inequities, and the hardships that too many young people face. And we refuse to accept them. We’re here to break the cycle of homelessness, eliminate gaps in the social safety net, and make resources accessible to all.

ClearPathNYC isn’t just a platform—it’s a movement. A powerhouse of real-time information, essential services, and support designed to uplift the unheard, the unseen, and the underserved. We amplify voices and work relentlessly to ensure every young person can access the resources they need to thrive.

We transform anger into action, frustration into fuel, and despair into hope. Until every young New Yorker has the resources they need to build a secure future, we will not stop.

🚀 This isn’t just a vision. This is our battle cry. Join us in the fight for a stronger, fairer, and more accessible New York City.

  • At ClearPathNYC, our mission is to revolutionize access to social wellness resources for young people in New York City, ensuring they can easily find housing, food assistance, healthcare, education, and support services.

We are committed to eliminating barriers to socio-economic stability, empowering youth to navigate their personal journeys with dignity and confidence. Through technology, community partnerships, and innovative solutions, we make critical resources more accessible, transparent, and effective for those who need them most.

Our goal is clear: to transform the way young New Yorkers connect with life-changing support systems, creating a stronger, more equitable future for all.

  • Home as a Human Right: Having a home is foundational to stability and when that is met, the pathways to education, a career, and agency over your environment and your health become significantly easier to accomplish.

Systemic Approach: We acknowledge the systematic flaws in the NYC Housing system, which require a comprehensive and holistic approach.

Youth-Centered: We believe that houseless youth must be actively leading and guiding the movement and the process of creating solutions for youth homelessness, as they are the experts of their own experiences.

Community Support: Local communities have the expertise in the specific needs and challenges faced by houseless youth in their community. We aim to make these community resources significantly more visible and accessible.

Empowerment: We value empowering houseless youth to take control of their own lives and make decisions about their own well-being.

Respect: We value the autonomy and dignity of houseless youth and treat them with respect.

Inclusivity: We strive to serve all houseless youth, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental health, or other factors.

Trauma-Informed: We strive to be sensitive to the trauma that many houseless youth have experienced and provide services that are trauma-informed.

Collaboration: We work with other organizations, government agencies, and community organizations to provide comprehensive services and support for houseless youth.

Transparency and Accountability: We are open and responsive to feedback and willing to measure and report on the impact of our programs.

Evidence-Based Practices: We strive to base our programs and services on the best available research.

Innovation: We continuously look for new ways to improve our services and reach more houseless youth.

FAQs

  • ClearPath’s proprietary portal is an all-in-one space to search for, filter, and apply directly to a plethora of non-profit and public programs and services in New York City.

The programs and services provide shelter, mental wellness, food, academic support, and career opportunities.

Through filtering in our drop-down menus or looking at the demo info in each program, you can better find relevant programs based on location, age, gender, LGBTQIA+ status, and more.

  • A way for you to keep your information up-to-date with ClearPath, better connect you with the right programs and make sure you are the most prepared for them. Although none of the prompts are required, the more info you enter, the better ClearPath can direct you to the best programs for housing, mental wellness, art therapy, academic support, work opportunities, and other services. We work to make this portal better for you every day!

  • ClearPath only collects what you are willing to provide: Your age, demographic info, and the area of the city you live in and/or are looking to find opportunities within.

This data will never be sold to brands, private sector banking, investment firms, ad agencies, or any other for-profit institutions.

But, we do provide macro demographic percentages of our users (i.e X% of users are 18-20, Y% are 21-24) to non-profit and government agencies to help them better understand the demographics of youth in foster care systems or those that are experiencing homelessness. We assure you personal details such as your name and email remain private information and will not be sold or given to any institutions.

  • We use your entered email to send you updates, keep in touch, send you news, and, most importantly, inform you of new opportunities in your city.

Don’t worry; you can opt-out of less relevant emails (or all emails) and still keep your account.
